The year 2024 is a special moment for us, as this year is the 25th anniversary of the death of Jerzy Grotowski. We are in the process of preparing a series of events around Jerzy Grotowski and already invite you to our newest educational project ๐ง๐ต๐ฒ ๐๐ฐ๐๐ผ๐ฟโ๐ ๐๐ฎ๐ฏ๐ผ๐ฟ๐ฎ๐๐ผ๐ฟ๐. ๐ฆ๐ฐ๐ต๐ผ๐ผ๐น ๐ผ๐ณ ๐๐ต๐ฒ ๐๐ฟ๐ผ๐๐ผ๐๐๐ธ๐ถ ๐๐ป๐๐๐ถ๐๐๐๐ฒ (http://en.grotowski-institute.pl/school/).
We are announcing the recruitment for a two-year program in which persons selected in the application process will participate. The schoolโs program is aimed primarily at applicants who have completed acting studies, although a diploma is not a requirement for applying.
The first year, carried out in a group of about 20 students, will be divided into three semesters, each devoted to specific issues, related to acting practice and tutored by pedagogues of the Grotowski Institute Studios: Studio Kokyu, Studio WACHOWICZ/FRET, Teatr ZAR. The programme of the school will be enriched with classes led by the guest professors: ANG Gey Pin (Singapore), Jairo Cuesta, James Sloviak (USA), Sol Garre (Spain), Arti Grabowski (Poland), Marie-Suze Jean-Baptiste (Mambo Nini, Haiti), Virginia Kerovpyan (France), Aram Kerovpyan (France), Lekso Gremelaszwili (Georgia).
The second year will be carried out in a smaller group of approximately 10 students (selected from the first-year students) invited to continue cooperation. The year will be divided into three semesters and will include work on studentsโ projects.
